Snow Day

Today we went to Crater Lake.  You'll never believe what we found there...lots and lots of snow!  The first time we stopped to play in the snow, we had a small snowball fight and I built a miniature snowman with some moss hair.  Then we went and explored the lake.  We took about a mile hike down to the edge of the lake.  While we were there, we saw somebody jump off the edge of a rock into the lake...bbbbrrrr....

After the hike back up, we went back to the snow and Isaac and I started building a snow fort.  We even had a cooler for the snowballs.  After a while, Daddy came and joined us and we picked up a big slab of ice that we found and used it as part of the wall.  When the wall was done, I started building stuff inside the fort - the entrances and exits.  The way you got in was sliding down the snow path that we had made.  And the way to get out was...well, some stairs that I tried to build.  As soon as the fort was done, Daddy got out a tarp and we started sliding down the slope on the tarp.  The last time I went, I spun around backwards.  The snow was lots of fun!
